Friendsgiving with Trap Door Escape

For 2021, I am not following the traditional Thanksgiving trends, with the old school pre-ordained last Thursday of the month set date and prescribed menu as the only day and the way to celebrate the holiday. Let’s all stop for a moment and admit this past year has left us all in need of more celebrations and less confinements.

Still unsure? Do you crave the high of achieving something that many have risked their lives attempting to accomplish – with many failing? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then keep reading.

Are Escape Rooms Like the Escape Room Movie?

Are Escape Rooms Like the Escape Room Movie?

By: Janis Adams

Are escape rooms like the  “Escape Room” movie?

We actually get this question a lot. The short answer is NO! We are an escape room attraction, not the set of a horror film. Bartonsville Gamemaster and Director of Streaming, Mike Parrotta, said he hears this question often.

“People come in and look at me wearily and tell me they just saw the movie,” he said. “The movie set a precedent that all escape rooms are scary, only good for adults, and will kill you. The movie teaches the audience that escape rooms are 100 percent horror.” And that thought couldn’t be further from the truth.
