Trap Door Escape Rooms’ New Summer Pricing
Are you looking for affordable escape room pricing this summer? Trap Door is pleased to announce new summer pricing on our public escape rooms for your next adventure.
Escape rooms are a great way to bond with family and meet new friends. Whether you’re one person looking for affordable fun things to do, a couple on a first date, or a family of 4 looking for summer fun with kids, escape rooms are an increasingly popular activity everyone can enjoy. In the spirit of summer, we are offering a student discount and other escape room pricing reductions on public tickets through the end of the season. Read on for details!
Affordable Escape Room Tickets
While gas and other prices seem to skyrocket out of this world, Trap Door wants to remain down-to-earth by providing affordable escape room tickets. We want students and families to be able to join us over the summer break, playing our immersive games and breaking leaderboard records instead of breaking the bank!
Location Pricing
We are extending the following escape room pricing discounts at our Red Bank and Poconos locations:
- Up to 20% off public tickets for ages 17-26
- Up to 50% off public tickets for children ages 10-16
Public ticket prices are also reduced overall at our Morristown location:
- $35/ticket for adults
- $31/ticket for ages 17-26
- $23/ticket for ages 10-16
Summer Fun for Kids
Be sure to bring the whole family to Trap Door if you’re in search of affordable fun things to do with kids this summer. Children are not just WELCOME, they’re some of our best problem-solvers and might even spot a clue you miss! Everyone has their own escape room personality and brings something different to the table. You’ll not only make memories, you’ll learn about how your family members work together in a completely new, fun dynamic!
Don't Forget to have Fun!
Remember, the point isn’t just to beat the clock, it’s also to enjoy the carefully-crafted story, the fully-immersive setup and detailed surroundings. So, we recommend you check out a particular escape room’s webpage and/or call us with any questions before you join us for a day of family fun, so you’ll know what to expect.
Many of our games are family-friendly, highlighting in particular:
- The Greatest Freakshow in Morristown, a musical circus themed escape where you are an oddity in Xunder’s new sideshow act. You must stop the evil Mermaid Atina from stealing the show with her siren song!
- Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in the Poconos, a Wonderland-themed escape room with a live character actor. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party blends a one-person immersive theatre show with puzzles for a mind bending experience!
- F5 Tornado in the Poconos, an obstacle course escape adventure where you will push, pull, climb, crawl, and think your way through this tornado course!
Meet Friends This Summer in Public Escape Rooms
If you’re flying solo this summer or looking to meet new people with mutual interests, our discounted public tickets allow strangers to book into your game! Not to worry – we don’t just throw you to the proverbial wolves. At Trap Door, our game designers and gamemasters go to great lengths to help groups break the ice and let the players get acclimated to each other before attempting to, say, climb Mount Everest or save the world together. Small-talk certainly simmers down when the countdown begins!
Public vs. Private Bookings
Another added bonus to public vs. private bookings is not having to deal with scheduling conflicts between people in your party. So every escape room enthusiast you know is either on vacation and you don’t have enough players for a private experience? Play a public game, meet new players and learn different skill sets that you can show off the next time you play with your regular crew!
21+ Fun!
Escape room enthusiasts aged 21 and over can enjoy spirits as part of their experience at some Trap Door locations. Puzzles and Corks pairs wine with gameplay at Trap Door Morristown. Trap Door Poconos features Madness Distillery, and the Tortuga Rum Bar will be coming soon to Bethlehem, PA. We provide the ambiance, the immersive experience, and the spirits… all you have to bring is your charming self!
Hurry In!
The new summer escape room pricing and student discount will last only as long as the season, so get it while it’s hot…outside! (Did we mention all of our facilities are air conditioned?) Come join us for family fun and cool off with an escape room while seasonal pricing is still available.
Private booking prices will stay the same. Check the Trap Door main website frequently for promotions, like our current 10% off private bookings this Father’s Day Weekend with promo code (“DAD22”).

Trap Door Escape Company
Trap Door Escape Room has 4 locations: 3180 Route 611 in Bartonsville, PA in the Poconos; 60 White St. in Red Bank, NJ; 34A Speedwell Ave. in Morristown, NJ: and 77 Wind Creek Blvd in Bethlehem, PA. The Red Bank location was the first of the 4 locations, opening in the fall of 2015. Morristown followed in the summer of 2017, and Bartonsville opened during the holiday season of 2018. Wind Creek is currently undergoing construction and will be opening in September 2022.
History
The idea came to Tone Purzycki back in 2011 after he wrote a screenplay that developed into a live-streaming game. The game revolved around an actor trapped in a situation and the audience had to solve puzzles to figure out where he was trapped. The “Find Me Event” had more than 1,000 people playing over the course of several hours. After the success of several other streaming events, the idea of an escape room was born.
Location
Each location has different rooms from which to choose. Our Morristown location is home to Day of the Dead, Witch Hunt, and The Greatest Freakshow. In Bartonsville, you’ll find Cure Z, F5 Tornado Escape, Fear the Bogeyman, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, We’re All Mad Here, and Prisoner Z. In Red Bank we currently have Everest – our first 2 story escape room. Ripper of London is also available at this location. Our pirate themed games will soon be open at Wind Creek.
Trap Door Escape Room also offers team building, streaming events, and birthday parties. For more information on any of our games, prices, and locations, explore our website or call 570-234-3366
