Case Studies
With the Zoo still working under COVID social distancing, Trap Door was asked to create a custom streaming experience that zoo members could experience from home.
The result was The Peacock Mystery which let players virtually search the zoo for a missing Peahen as a snow storm threatened to close the zoo early.
Showing the companies versatility, the snow storm was not initially part of the plans, but the actual surprise weather of the production date.
Trap Door saw the storm as a way to add more suspense to the story and quickly pivoted to focus on it as the gameplay progressed.

Initially brought on for window art graphics and prints, the relationship moved to a custom experience for the bar’s brand new lounge on the 2nd floor known as The Raven Room. The Raven Room was already decorated in Edgar Allen Poe theming so our team grasped onto that.
The Raven Guild was born as an elite secret society that you became a part of when venturing to the Lounge. This treacherous club was centuries old and permeated society through sorcery. The Raven Guild Society had special menus as well as a signature drink known as ‘The Black Death’.
Trap Door Strategies designed My Girls from the ground up. The logo was crafted to convey the mission of the company and with word of mouth being the number one marketing tool in their industry, we went with brochures showcasing exactly who worked for the company and engaged the trust of those prospective clients.
With the hotel closed for renovations, The Publick House of Chester NJ wanted to make sure they reopened with a splash. Trap Door created a fully immersive theatre show based around a couple on honeymoon. Participating viewers would follow the cast on a tour of the hotel as they were engaged by the story and theatrics.
The show Sold Out its entire two month run and allowed the Hotel to receive amazing press for its relaunch.
Red Bank is famous for large crowd events, but not every event matched the capacity. Trap Door was brought in to breath new life into the towns Easter Egg Hunt.
Working with local business’s all over town, the participants were able to tour everything Red Bank had to offer as kids were immersed in a holiday themed scavenger hunt.
The event over sold bringing thousands in to participate.
After the success of the Red Bank Egg Hunt, Trap Door was asked to formulate an event for the annual Halloween parade. A coffin escape wound up being the event, however it was not just escaping a coffin, but also, the straightjacket the victim was buried in!
